Questions we often hear
How long does a timekeeping adjustment take?
We typically keep the watch for three to five working days to test it across multiple positions and temperatures. We do not rush this process, as accuracy readings improve with time.
Do I need to book an appointment to bring in my watch?
Walk-ins are welcome during studio hours. If you have a specific question or a restoration piece that needs careful handling, a message beforehand is appreciated so we can set aside suitable time.
Can you work on older or vintage watches?
Yes. Vintage and sentimental pieces are handled with particular care. We will assess the watch before committing to a service and will be honest with you if a task falls outside our scope.
What does water resistance testing involve?
We use a pressure test chamber to check if the case holds to its rated depth. We also inspect all gaskets and the crown. If seals need replacing, we will show you the worn ones before and after.
How much does the complete restoration service include?
The ฿7,800 service covers movement servicing, case and bracelet cleaning, and a water resistance test after reassembly. We discuss scope at intake — if something is found that requires extra parts or labour, we pause and ask before continuing.
Will you tell me if a repair is not worth the cost?
Absolutely. If an assessment suggests the service cost outweighs the watch's value or repairability, we will say so plainly. We prefer an honest conversation over a bill you regret.
